Author's Note-As stealthy as the wind, ninjas take risks that most people would never dream of doing. I felt it necessary to describe the stereotypical ninja. After writing this free-form poem I look at ninjas in a completely different way; they don't just "karate-chop". Everything they do must be discreet and quick to get the job done and get it done right.
the wind blows gently
but it does nothing to distract the look of seriousness on the ninjas face
silent but deadly
few know what lay beneath that mask
maybe it’s a good person
but he must put that life aside and focus
there is a mission to complete
he must be agile and mysterious
one slip up and his life is over
will he make it?
the answer could be yes
or it could be no
his life is one big question mark
but that’s how he likes it
I thought your poem was really good. You did a good job using described words.

DeleteYou did a really unique job of describing how a ninja has to put his life aside and either live or die. You use very descriptive words! I love this poem!
