Even though nobody’s perfect, there are good people and there are people who do not so good things. Just because you do something bad, doesn’t mean you are a bad person. Every country is a mix of those people, the key is to have a balance and that balance is having more good than bad. Therefore this country isn’t awful, it’s just that sometimes, awful things happen.
When awful things happen or something goes wrong with a decision our country makes, I am still proud; I just don’t support everything this country does. We all have our own views and opinions. Everybody expresses their opinions differently, there are some people who don’t understand how privileged they are to be able to live in this country.
There’s no doubt, that as a country we make mistakes, and that the people in this country makes mistakes, but we’re fairly good at learning from them. There have been times when history has repeated itself, but I believe we have handled it fairly well. Usually history repeats itself when we didn’t handle it very well the first time so when it happens we get a second chance to do it right.
Pleasing everybody in the country is an impossible task. We aren’t giving the people running this country enough credit. These people strive to make this country as close to perfection as they can get it. After writing this, I am absolutely positive that I am proud of this country. I can’t express all my feelings in words but I can feel them in my heart. Being in this country is more than just where you live, it’s a place where people of all cultures can live in peace and everybody is treated equally. I am overcome with emotion every time I think of everything that our country has done to make it safe for everybody. The United States of America is a truly remarkable country.
