Author's Note-I am not a poet, but I gave it my best shot and I hope that you interpret in a way that is meaningful to you. I won't tell you my thought process because I want you to read this with a clean slate and form your own view.
Strong and Firm
Their Roots dig deep
They do not move or leave
Dependable and Loyal
As full of life as human life itself
Their leaves flutter about
But they still hold on to their home
When winter strikes they fall
To make room for the spring
When the leaves are replenished and strong again
The leaves are greener than the grass below
A Beautiful and blissful sight
The tree still stands
